As a competent Project Consultant and Development Manager with more than fifteen years of experience in renewable energy, Stavros has been overseeing all aspects project development from green field to pre-construction compliance, including scope, quality, overall schedule and timely completion of 76 R.E.S. projects.

Majoring in Geology and Geoenvironment, Stavros’s interest for the conservation and safeguarding of the environment was demonstrated very early on. With additional major in Renewables and Climate Change and his profession as a geologist and and geoenvironmentalist further solidified his passion in this field, paving the way for his active involvement in renewable energy.

He reached the first milestone of his career after joining F-Grid SA, an IPP company dealing Solar, Wind, Biomass, Biogas and Hydro. As one of the owners and Head of Development, he supervised substantial IPP projects including project licensing, one of which was a 5GW project for third parties who were all major players in renewable energy industry. 

He then co-founded another company Desmos Real Estate & Environmental Services with subsidiaries dealing with wind and biomass energy, taking care of R.E.S. projects and licensing, during which he also lends his expertise to leading renewable energy companies in Europe as their Project Consultant and Development Advisor for all aspects of IPP project development. 

His latest venture joining ASA Energy Investments S.A. as their co-owner and Head of Development, managing a growing pipeline of solar and battery storage projects across the country, further diversify and concretise his expertise in this burgeoning field of renewable energy solutions.
